Velvet adds a luxuriousness to our rugs and the colors are mouthwatering! Easy to hook with and you can use your cutter. Velvet has a nap which means it likes to wiggle while you cut so, take your time cutting to even worms/noodles. This is silk velvet which has the gorgeous shimmer.

When I began dyeing velvet i tried stretch velvet and various dye companies to see what I liked best. If it is Stretch Velvet I will say so. If there is a limited number available it means I cannot reproduce accurately and that's all there is, so grab them if you like them.

The silk velvet I am now using dyes up beautifully. The colors are more vibrant than the stretch velvet.
