Bright Khaki is a shade of Chartreuse and makes it a good choice for a background. It has nice movement and is lovely with it's Compliments of Red Violet 14. I like it with the lighter values in this color family which include Tender Violet, Paisley Purple, Wild Aster. It's also nice with lighter colors from the Magenta and Fuchsia and Aqua Blue family.
